The Bridgeton Bridge

The 245' Bridgeton Bridge was built in1868 and with its mill and waterfall is probably one of the most photographed and painted of all the Indiana bridges.
The Dunbar Bridge

Located .8 miles north of Greencastle, this bridge was built in 1880 by the local farmers using timber which was cut on the Dunbar farm adjoining the bridge site.  This burr arch, two-span bridge is 174 ft. long, plus a 12 ft. overhang at each end.  The bridge is 16 ft. wide and 13 ft, 6 in. high with cut stone abutments, piles and a shingle roof.  It is possible that J.J. Daniels had a hand in the building of this bridge.  It is still in use and in good repair.
The Ramp Creek Bridge

The Ramp creek bridge is at the entrance to the Brown County State Park, located east of Nashville. The 96 ft. bridge, built in 1838 used double barrelled burr arch construction and is the last remaining structure of its kind in the state of Indiana.
McAlisters Bridge

By the time J. A. Britton built this bridge he was 77 years old and depended on his sons to do the work. This bridge has raised approaches to be above the frequent flood waters.
The Neet Bridge

The Neet Covered Bridge was built in 1904 by J. J. Daniels the last covered bridge was bypassed in 1996. Funds usually used for demolition of an old bridge were used to to restore the covered bridge. The bridge was stripped bare and new roof and siding used in the restoration. The portals were restored and are part of the original structure.
The Mansfield Bridge
Mansfield Bridge Image The Mansfield Covered Bridge crosses Big Raccoon Creek, located beside the old mill in Mansfield, on County Road South 810 East in Parke County. This double span Burr Arch Truss structure has a length of 247 feet, or 279 feet including the 16-foot overhang at each end, is 16 feet wide and 14 feet high..Built in 1867 by Joseph J. Daniels
Edna Collings Bridge
Edna Collings Bridge Image The Edna Collings Bridge was built in 1922 by Charles Collings. This burr arch bridge is over Little Walnut Creek and is only 80 ft. long, with an 8 ft. overhang at each end, and was built to replace a concrete bridge washed out by high waters.  This bridge is 15 ft. wide and 13 ft., 6 in. high.  It is in use today.
Cataract Falls Covered Bridge

The Cataract Falls Covered Bridge is located in the Cataract Falls State Recreation Area and crosses the Eel River (or Mill Creek), just above the Upper Falls. The structure has a length of 150 feet including the 5-foot overhang at each end, is 13 feet 6 inches wide and 13 feet 6 inches high. It was built in 1882 by the Smith Bridge Company,
